I joined my local community association at the beginning of 2016. This volunteer run group was lacking a strong “brand” to distinguish themselves from the local resident’s council. I was eager and excited to lend my skills to this group of fantastic volunteers. I created this bright and joyful logo to highlight the association’s goal to support and engage local business and more importantly the community members.

Maria, owner of Beach House Dog Grooming in White Rock, BC, came to me looking for a “retro” looking logo with a beachy theme. Like with most of my clients, we emailed concepts and comments back and forth until everything was just right. I had a lot of fun creating this bright, retro, beachy logo for her.

My goal when creating this logo was to incorporate a recycling symbol without adding a bulky image. This logo is simple but provides subtle context to their companies role.

I met Jacklyn, the owner of It’s Over Rover, on the second day of grade 5 and even back then she had a deep love of dogs. While we’ve lost touch over the years, we were virtually connected on Facebook. So when I saw her post about starting her own dog training business I knew it was the perfect career choice for her.
I actually contacted her myself offering my services because I was so excited for her new venture and I wanted to help her business succeed in any way that I could.
Jacklyn also needed an affordable website that was easy to update herself. We decided on using Weebly because it is very user-friendly and includes free hosting. Now Jacklyn can make any necessary updates to her dog training schedules and fees herself.
Marceline, owner of Country Canine Salon in Sooke BC, contacted me with a rough sketch of a dog. She had a concept in mind and I worked hard to execute it. I also created a business card design file that could send to a printer.
